Nima

Nima was 4 months old when she was rescued in the province of Mazandaran, after being hit by a car. As a result of the injury one of her back legs was amputated. Then she was passed around from home to home until she was full size and no one was willing to keep her. So she was chained in the backyard and had a small dog-house in mud as shelter until Woofy Wishes learned about her and stepped in.

Nima is such an amazing girl! She is loving and devoted to our family and towards her fur-siblings, and likes to play with our cats. She likes to hoard her toys and things she finds and piles them on her bed or in a corner of the yard! She loves the water and loves swimming in the lake. She loves the snow so much; it’s hard to get her to come inside when it is snowing. She goes most places with us such as our children’s sporting events. She is very well behaved everywhere we go. She also brings a lot of awareness to people who ask about her amputation and the plight of rescue animals. She is fiercely protective of our children and never takes her eyes off them when we are out somewhere, especially our youngest son. When I first saw her picture on Woofy Wishes page and saw her eyes, I knew she was fated to be part of our family! Thank you!
